JOB TITLE : Medical Assistant
LOCATIONS : New York City
SALARY : $18 - $24 per hour
Type : Part-time (ON-call, flex force, 1-2 month term)
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the physician to prepare patients for examination and procedure.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
- Interviews patients and records all gathered information in the patients' chart.
- Uses Ultrasound during interventional procedures.
- Ensure the patient's medical information is up to date.
- Maintaining physician and patient medical equipment and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with provider.
- Support the office coordinator and physician liaison.
- Maintain a quiet and peaceful environment that promotes healing.
- Handle all confidential information with discretion and sensitivity, and within the HIPAA Laws.
- Travel between assigned clinic locations as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
