About the Role :
The National Maintenance Director will oversee and mentor Regional Maintenance Directors and maintenance teams throughout the sunbelt region. This role requires managing property takeovers, conducting due diligence, analyzing deferred maintenance and capital needs, and supervising all capital projects. This is a leadership position focused on ensuring effective maintenance team performance, capital project management, and the implementation and development of best practices across the organization..
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, management or a related field.
- HVA Certification and A / C and R Certification required.
- Previous experience managing facilities maintenance across multiple locations.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of training and developing maintenance teams.
- Expertise in standardizing maintenance procedures and implementing effective programs.
- Proficient in negotiating contracts and managing capital improvement projects.
- Comfortable with 25-40% travel.
- Must be based in Phoenix, with no involvement in day-to-day maintenance tasks.
