Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is recruiting a Warehouse Technician to join the team in Charles City, Iowa. This position will support Pembina operations in Charles City and surrounding areas with occasional travel to Jamestown, North Dakota and Kankakee, Illinois. This position reports to the Warehouse Operations Supervisor as part of Pembina’s Corporate Services Division.
As a Warehouse Technician you will coordinate the shipping and receiving of the locations’ warehouse of supplies and materials, reporting on inventory and cost controls, and performing all duties required in compliance with corporate safety standards, regulatory requirements and industry accepted best practices. This position supports the Charles City area physically day to day, and provides remote support to other areas for data management and inventory control, with occasional travel for inventory counts and other warehouse maintenance activities.
Pembina's Transmission Pipeline assets have developed through the strategic acquisition of key natural gas and specification ethane transportation infrastructure assets, positioned in some of the most prolific gas producing regions in western Canada and the United States.
This position may consider applicants in the US that may need relocation support.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

- Ensure all materials handling duties are completed safely, in compliance with Pembina’s procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices;
- Materials Handling, including receiving and issuing, labelling and storage, management and monitoring of equipment repairs, handling and storage of products in appropriate storage areas, managing restocking of plant warehouse parts and consumable inventories, staging and communication of materials availability;
- Materials Data Management and replenishment, including execution of material requirements planning (MRP) function in SAP, review and execution of suggested MRP re-orders, optimization of re-order quantities through analysis and area stock transfers, working with operations and maintenance stakeholders to review obsolete materials, and constructing new material requests for submission to Pembina’s master data team;
- Inventory control, including shelf organization, processing of goods issues and returns, and inventory counts and reconciliations;

Other duties as required, including following Pembina quality control/receiving procedures as required for special items such as pressure rated items, providing coverage and additional resourcing as required for materials handling in the region, assisting or coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries as required with Buyer and transport companies, and participating in Maintenance planning activities such as outage preparation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years material handling experience in energy industry or similar asset driven industries;
- Experience with SAP MM Module would be a significant asset;
- Valid driver’s license is required;
- Ability to run a forklift and other material handling equipment (pallet jacks, skid steer, loader) as well as possibly ATV’s;
- MS Word, Excel and Outlook proficiency is required in addition to document control experience;
- Strong time management and organizational skills;
- Excellent communication skills and customer service focused;
- Able to work efficiently without direct supervision and exhibit accountability.

The successful candidate must live 60 miles of reporting location or willingness to relocate.
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate may be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check, Drug Screen (which includes testing for marijuana metabolites), and Fit for Duty Exam.
