The LPN Unit Manager oversees the overall operations of nursing and patient care for an assigned unit within a nursing center, adhering to Genesis policies, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
- Manage daily nursing activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Requirements:
- Degree Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing with 3 years of experience, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with 2 years of experience.
- Licensure:
- Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state.
