Clinician

Join a small team of clinicians at a specialized practice in New Castle, PA, as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. You'll provide direct counseling to adults with histories of domestic and sexual violence, their families, and adolescents struggling with sexually inappropriate behaviors. This includes clients referred through programs such as the Sexual Assault Treatment Program, Comprehensive Partner Intervention Program, and Lawrence County Treatment Court.

This full-time role is based in New Castle and Bridgewater, PA, with your services sometimes needed at the Lawrence County Courthouse, Corrections facilities and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead meaningful individual and group therapy sessions for adults and adolescents, addressing sexually abusive behaviors, co-occurring mental health or substance use conditions, with a focus on trauma-informed care and interventions.
• Maintain and update client documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and monthly summaries, ensuring timely completion.
• Conduct sexual offender evaluations and risk assessments.
• Deliver Comprehensive Partner Intervention Program services and coordinate with referral agencies.
• Collaborate with agencies such as county probation, Federal Parole, and State Parole/Probation offices to ensure effective and appropriate service delivery.
• Attend inter-agency meetings, trainings, and treatment team sessions as they arise.
• Answer calls, manage referrals, attend meetings, and maintain documentation for licensing compliance.
• Additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or a related field is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of PA is required.
• Experience working with forensic populations, including individuals with a history of sexual offenses, is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in mental health assessments, psychological assessments, crisis intervention, and individual and group therapy.
• Ability to gain strong familiarity with Pennsylvania laws regarding Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, Megan’s Law/SORNA, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in HIPAA regulations and standard insurance practices.
• Working knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ongoing education and licensure as required by the State Board of Social Workers and other relevant professional organizations.
