What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Driver position at Pembroke & Company, Inc.?
Seeking non-CDL drivers! Full & Part-time roles available.
Drivers will report to a base location in South-Central Maine. Routes do not go beyond Maine and New Hampshire.
For full-time, you will be given a set schedule, 5 days per week, including weekends, with 2 consecutive days off during the week. Shifts are scheduled 10:00pm – 6:00am, though shifts may end early for drivers that finish their route. There are also options for those seeking part-time. Pay is per route.
Responsibilities
- Operate 22ft-36ft box truck.
- Pick up goods from bakery location.
- Transport and deliver goods to various Dunkin’ locations, within the timeframe specified.
- Open & disable alarm at delivery location upon arrival, locking & enabling alarm when leaving location.
- Load and unload truck, moving bakery racks, as needed.
- Complete an average of 13 stops/shift, about 170 miles.
- Follow traffic laws and regulations.
- Additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience driving 22ft beds is preferred.
- Required to pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Required to complete Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
- No more than 3 Motor Vehicle Record infractions within the last 3 years.
- Reliable; able to report to work on time daily.
- Able to work independently.
