Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. Situated on 26 acres, we offer inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults and older adults, and our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is a vital part of Pembroke Hospital’s multidisciplinary treatment team. This is a full time, Monday – Friday, position.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced practice nursing support for patients in the psychiatric outpatient and/or partial hospital programs
- Participates in treatment planning, implementation, and monitoring
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to identifying patient treatment needs
- Complete medication assessments and adjustments
- Prescribe medication for patients under the supervision of a psychiatrist
- Provide social support as needed
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the agency, community and referral sources

Qualifications:Requirements
- Current MA state license as a Nurse Practitioner
- 2-3 years of experience working in community health preferred
- CPR certification
