PEMEX Deer Park is a highly complex refinery located 18 miles east of Houston in Deer Park, TX, and is a part of the PEMEX group which is a fully integrated oil company in the Americas, working across the entire value chain : exploration, production, industrial processing / refining, logistics and marketing. Job Overview :

The Senior IT Hydrocarbon Business Analyst will act as a business partner and support the executive Digital Strategy Team in driving the business mission critical improvements. The Senior IT Hydrocarbon Business Analyst will act as the business relationship manager between the IT department and the Business Management and Process Engineering organizations.

The primary objective for the Business Analyst (BA) is to prioritize and drive continuous improvement opportunities. This includes understanding the business processes, requirements, and utilization the associated IT applications. The Business Analyst will assist in requirement gathering, vendor selection, and planning and execution of small projects.

The successful candidate must seek to understand the Refinery business, Oil and Gas practices, and feel comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Creativity and customer centric attitudes are fundamental in this role.

Stakeholder Management :

• Act as the business relationship manager for the commercial, supply chain, scheduling, planning, and process engineering teams. Facilitates discussions between business leads and IT.
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architect to develop strategic roadmaps for business capabilities and applications. Presentations to the executive team are expected.
• Work closely with PMO (Project Management Office) to deliver key projects.
• Collaborate with the offshore Applications Support teams.
• Work closely with the IT Technical for enforcing infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity requirements.
