Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic front office person to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their inquiries and needs. Your primary focus will be to ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle sales transactions accurately using a cash register or credit card machine.
- Answer phone calls in a professional manner
- Write job slips for various measure jobs and service requests
- Call customers to schedule installs, service needs, and follow up on estimates given to customers
- Assist with checking in deliveries and ensuring ordered items for jobs are received
- Taking in items such as screens, windows, and frames from customers to be repaired or other items for the shop
- Assist with keeping showroom clean and organized
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
- Computer skills and using Quick Books is helpful.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer engagement.
- Proficiency in math for estimating jobs and shop work fees.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
