Personal Injury Litigation Attorney – Indiana (Remote Flex)
Location: Louisville, KY
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 base salary commission
Work Environment: Hybrid / Remote Flexibility Available
Overview:
Pen Pioneer is actively seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney licensed in the state of Indiana and or Kentucky to support a well-established and rapidly growing personal injury law practice. This position will focus primarily on motor vehicle accident cases in litigation and may also include other personal injury matters such as dog bites and premises liability. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who can manage a high-volume caseload and confidently handle all aspects of litigation through trial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a litigation caseload averaging 50 active cases
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Guide clients through the legal process with professionalism and empathy
- Collaborate with expert witnesses and draft related reports and affidavits
- Participate in training and legal development seminars (may be outside of business hours)
Required Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active license and in good standing with the Indiana State Bar or Kentucky State Bar
- Minimum 5 years of litigation experience
- At least 2 years of experience in personal injury law
- Experience managing high-volume personal injury caseloads
- Must have trial experience (at least 1-2 trials)
- Excellent legal writing, oral advocacy, and client communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Commission structure with significant earning potential (average attorneys exceed $100K annually after the first year)
