Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and campus recruitment.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the organization.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate applications and maintain accurate records throughout the recruitment process.
- Build strong relationships with candidates, providing them with information about the company culture, job responsibilities, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct reference checks and coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruiting to enhance talent acquisition efforts.
- Assist in employee relations initiatives by providing support during onboarding processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of employee relations principles and practices.
- Familiarity with executive recruiting processes is a plus.
- Experience with ATS systems; knowledge of PeopleSoft is advantageous.
- Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidate competencies effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Experience in internal recruiting as well as campus recruitment is desirable.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
