Description
The Warehouse Assistant's is tasked to help with the daily warehouse operation as assigned by the Warehouse Lead.
Key Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and in a timely manner. The following duties are representative of the job but are not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Keeping an accurate inventory of tools on hand and at job sites (Cycle counts)
- Assessing the functionality of tools and equipment to meet guidelines of what tool inventory should be repaired or replaced
- Pull tool / equipment orders for job site delivery
- Check returned tools back into inventory
- Assisting in loading / unloading trucks.
- Maintain workorder repair sheets on company owned equipment for entry into the system
- Keep BECO owned fleet maintenance up to date
- Cleaning and damage inspection of all BECO equipment and rolling stock
- Cleanliness of the BECO warehouse, Depot, and yard
- Assist in record keeping

Work Conditions
Works primarily in a warehouse / shop environment. May occasionally be required to drive delivery truck to job sites. May be exposed to traffic hazards, job site conditions and warehouse conditions which may include dirt / dust, loud noise, and may be required to wear personal protective equipment. Required to lift 25lbs. regularly and 100lbs occasionally. Regular attendance is required to perform the job satisfactorily.
Salary : $35,000 - $43,540
