Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in e-commerce and supply chain management is highly desirable.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Finds and hires carriers for customer designated loads
  • Works with carriers to keep real time information and reports sent to customers
  • Works with sales to provide market competing pricing
  • Works with customer to book freight in a timely manner and meet deadlines
  • Handles shipments door to door to ensure successful delivery
  • Must be knowledgeable in logistics software to facilitate material movement, planning, and scheduling.
  • Tracks shipments ensure accurate and up-to-date shipment information is being provided to customers.
  • Ensures customer expectations are met or exceeded by completing accurate and timely scheduling/dispatching
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor or Manager

Education And/or Experience

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED)

  • High School diploma.
  • 3 years’ experience in logistics, transportation brokerage, or related field.

Computer Skills

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with transportation management systems.

Language Skills

  • English (reading, writing, verbal)
  • Spanish ( reading , writing, verbal)

Mathematical Skills

  • Position requires strong mathematical skills for pricing and negotiating.

Other Information

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
