Field Reporter

**Job Title:** Multi-Media News Reporter

About the Role:

We are seeking a multi-media proficient news reporter to find and report on local enterprising news stories.

Responsibilities:

• Shooting and editing video under deadline conditions.
• Writing captivating news stories that engage audiences.
• Scheduling interviews and news shoots with a focus on capturing compelling content.
• Conducting phone interviews when necessary to gather additional information.
• Updating social media and news website throughout the day to keep our audience informed.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in writing, reporting, and broadcasting.
• Established residency in Pennsylvania, with a deep understanding of the local community and its needs.
• Valid PA Driver's License and good driving record, with the ability to safely operate a vehicle while performing job duties.
• Familiarity with video editing and newsroom writing software, including proficiency in tools such as Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency with basic office equipment such as computers, printers, and scanners.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and emotions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work any shift on short notice, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic setting.
• Ability to work in a friendly and professional manner, both independently and as part of a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Ability to work effectively while adhering to company policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.
