BRCTV-13 is seeking a multi-media proficient News Reporter to find and report on local enterprising news stories.
Responsibilities include:
- Shooting and editing video under deadline conditions
- Writing captivating news stories
- Scheduling interviews and news shoots
- Conducting phone interviews when necessary
- Updating social media and news website throughout the day
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or related field
- Established residency in Pennsylvania
- Valid PA Driver's License and good driving record
- Familiarity with video editing and newsroom writing software
- Proficiency with basic office equipment such as computers
- Excellent Communication Skills – both oral and written
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work any shift on short notice
- Ability to work in a friendly and professional manner both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work effectively while adhering to company policies and procedures
