Responsibilities:
The incumbent will provide administrative support including travel, purchasing, fiscal reporting, and responding to public inquiries for a group of about 20 staff.
- Answering incoming telephone and email inquiries to the group and distributing these inquiries for response
- Assisting with personnel functions including recruitment and onboarding of new staff
- Assisting with purchase-related work including tracking purchases, reviewing and approving invoices, monitoring budget and purchase order information
- And assisting with tasks such as development of expenditure plans and reports.
- The preferred candidate will have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Office software (including Outlook email and calendaring tools, Word, and Excel)
- Good computer skills; experience handling telephone calls that require a high level of professionalism; excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently.
