We’re looking for Mental Health Therapy Aides to join our Pediatric Biobehavioral Unit, where you’ll play a vital role in providing care and support to young patients facing behavioral and emotional challenges.

What You’ll Do:
As a Mental Health Therapy Aide, you will provide both direct and indirect patient care, including:
Monitoring and recording vital signs and patient intake/output.
Assisting with patient admissions, including documentation and initial assessments.
Supporting daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility, etc.).
Engaging with patients through therapeutic activities under nursing supervision.
Responding to crisis situations and providing de-escalation support.
Ensuring a safe and structured environment for patients.
Collaborating with the healthcare team to observe and report patient responses to treatments.
Utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to document patient care.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: At least 1 year of mental health experience required (2 years preferred), preferably in an inpatient setting.
Pediatric experience is a plus!
Certifications: Current CPR certification required.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Ability to work independently while following established protocols.
