Shifts: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (Possible evening and weekend on-call)- 8 hour Days; 5 Days a week

Qualifications:
- A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- NYS license/registration
- Minimum of one year of experience as a radiologic technologist with CT/MRI experience
- Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Duties:
- Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists
- Greet patients, explain the examination process, and position patients appropriately
- Set proper exposure factors to obtain quality radiographs
- Practice radiation safety and protection to minimize patient exposure
- Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively to obtain quality studies
- Report any equipment malfunctions to the immediate supervisor
- Process films and input information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing
- Follow department procedures and protocols as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual
- Provide radiologic examinations based on the needs of referring physicians and radiologists
Skills Required:
- Experience in the field: Minimum 1 year
- A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology
- NYS license/registration
