We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join the Marketing Team in a full time, hybrid role based in Vancouver.  

 

Join our dynamic Marketing Team and become the driving force behind a variety of exciting activities that form the backbone of our success. This role is your chance to shine by delivering essential marketing initiatives that keep our brand at the forefront and help us achieve our goals of raising awareness of Pender with numerous audiences and generating leads. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

This role covers a variety of activities that form the backbone of what the Marketing Team delivers for Pender. This includes a number of flagship projects as well as cyclical marketing deliverables.   

  • Website Maintenance: Keep Pender’s three websites fresh and exciting by updating content and crafting eye-catching campaign landing pages.
  • Email Alerts: Craft engaging email alerts for our various audiences; send out captivating campaigns and keep an eye on the analytics.
  • Social Media Posts: Create compelling social media posts that amplify Pender’s voice and showcase our thought leadership within the industry.
  • Campaigns: Bring your creative ideas to our exciting campaign plans. 
  • Translations: Format and distribute translated materials to ensure everyone stays informed and engaged.
  • Sales Collateral: Keep our sales toolkit up-to-date with the latest data, ensuring our front line teams have the best resources at their fingertips.
  • Press Releases: Publish Pender’s news releases across the wires and our websites, making sure our latest news reaches the world.
  • Analytics: Support Marketing Ops by gathering and uploading key metrics to our marketing dashboards, helping us make data-driven decisions.
  • Merchandise: Manage all merchandise requests, source top-notch suppliers, negotiate the best prices, and ensure high-quality products. 
  • Other: Take on other administrative and marketing responsibilities as required by an agile and lean marketing team.

We are always looking for new injections of creative thinking on content, creative, or our toolkit of technology platforms. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing or a closely related field. 
  • 2 years of experience.  
  • Proven marketing experience: internships, voluntary or corporate all considered, subject to your career status. 
  • Demonstrable use or knowledge of a range of marketing tools and platforms; proficiency in Microsoft 365. 
  • You are organized, motivated and keen to do your best work, with the ability to problem solve, prioritize, multitask and work to deadlines.  
  • Considered an asset but not required: experience of working in the financial services sector, experience of maintaining websites in WordPress, written French.

We are sharing that the estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year. In determining final salary, Pender considers many factors including the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, job responsibilities, market conditions, position location and internal equity. Our aim is to ensure fair compensation practices that align with industry standards while acknowledging the unique value and expertise each individual brings to the role. The final base salary for the offer will be presented as part of a competitive compensation package.
