- Teach assigned classes in designated locations and times.
- Develop a curriculum that meets individual student needs, interests, and abilities.
- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning, considering student maturity and interests.
- Prepare for classes and maintain records of preparation upon request.
- Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
- Guide the learning process toward curriculum goals and establish clear objectives.
- Employ various instructional techniques and media to meet student needs.
- Implement the district's philosophy of education and instructional goals.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide progress reports as required.
- Take necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Maintain accurate records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
- Assist in implementing policies and rules governing student life and conduct.
- Be available for education-related purposes outside the instructional day when required or requested.
- Plan and supervise purposeful assignments for instructional aides and volunteers.
- Strive to maintain and improve professional competence.
