Position Summary
Pendleton Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Counterintelligence (CI) Officer to support our Department of Defense (DoD) customer. The CI Officer will serve as a liaison with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), providing expertise in counterintelligence activities to protect client resources from foreign intelligence threats, sabotage, espionage, and terrorist activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct counterintelligence investigations, operations, collection, analysis, production, and defensive functional services.
- Detect, identify, assess, exploit, penetrate, degrade, and neutralize foreign intelligence threats.
- Provide expert counterintelligence support to missile defense-related or other large-scale DoD programs/projects.
- Serve as a primary liaison with DCSA and other relevant agencies.
- Work independently and/or lead sub-teams in analyzing and resolving counterintelligence-related challenges.
- Liaison with the Defense Counterintelligence Agency (DCSA).
Required Qualifications:
- Certification: Must be formally CI trained and certified to USD/I-approved standards per DoD Directive 5240.02.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience supporting missile defense or other complex, large DoD programs/projects.
- Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Preferred: Experience working with DCSA is a plus.
- Deep understanding of the Intelligence Community and Insider Threat methodologies.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with high levels of responsibility and discretion.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Excellent briefing and technical writing skills
- Impeccable customer service skills
- Read, speak, and understand the English language fluently
- Expert experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools and systems to include Excel, Project, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Complete a security screening interview
- The employee must maintain clearance, eligibility throughout employment.
- Must meet client suitability
