Penguin City Swim is Manhattan's top-rated swim school. We are best known for our experienced, professional instructors and our small class sizes. Our swim program caters to children and adults of all ages.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Greeter to join our team. The Greeter will be the first point of contact for customers, providing a welcoming and positive experience.
Duties:
- Greet customers as they enter the establishment with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Handle all in-person customer issues at location.
- become proficient in responding to emails and phone calls
- build relationships with clients both in-person and virtually
- Provide information about products, services, and promotions.
- Direct customers to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Maintain a clean and organized entrance area.
- Handle and operate Point of Sale (POS) system (Jackrabbit) (training provided).
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette.
- Comfortable w/ POS systems.
- Must be punctual and always wear uniform.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
