Job Overview
Penguin Coding School is looking for part-time & full-time teachers of computer coding and robotics to children between the ages 5-18. Penguin Coding Teachers teach from our proprietary project-based curriculum, and help children build websites, games and digital art.
Classes during the school year are on weekdays after school 3pm-7pm, and 9am-5pm during the weekends. We maintain a very small class size to provide the most effective instruction. Before setting foot in a classroom, new teachers will work with our training program to learn how to teach our unique curriculum.
We are looking for in-person teachers for this location and so must be able to commute reliably to this location.
We teach using:
- Scratch & Minecraft for lower elementary grades
- Python, Roblox & Javascript for upper elementary & middle school kids
- Java, Python, Mobile App Development (Swift, Android) for middle school & high school kids.
- Lego and kit-based robotics for ages 5-18
Qualifications
Successful candidates should have experience teaching kids in some form and prior experience with coding or a STEM based subject.
