Overview

Penguin Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR team. This role will partner closely with leaders at all levels to develop and execute talent solutions that align to business objectives and promote a culture of high performance and engagement. As a trusted advisor, you will build collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization and serve as a go-to resource for employees and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a coach and trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance management, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Partner with managers to drive employee engagement, retention, and recognition, ensuring development plans align with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  • Address employee concerns, interpersonal conflicts, and performance-related coaching to foster a productive, inclusive work environment.
  • In partnership with the Centers of Excellence, facilitate the successful rollout of key HR programs (e.g., performance reviews, talent development, succession planning, compensation planning)
  • Foster a collaborative working environment by establishing cross-functional relationships across the organization (ie. the broader HR / TA team, Finance, Legal, IT, etc).
  • Lead and support DEI and culture development activities.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics to recommend solutions, programs, and policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent education and experience
  • 5 years of experience working in the human resources field.
  • Track record of establishing strong partnerships and influencing individuals at all levels in the organization.
  • Experience supporting various business functions including engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales.
  • Experience leading key HR Programs, including annual performance assessment cycles, compensation planning and talent and succession planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Proven experience managing multiple competing priorities within an aggressive timeline.
  • Strong project and program management skills.
  • Location

  • Ideally, this will be a hybrid role located near one of our main facilities in Milpitas, CA or Maynard, MA, though consideration will be given to great candidates located elsewhere.
  • Travel

    Compensation & Benefits

    The base pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position in the United States is $90,000 - $120,000, where the upper end of the range is applicable to hybrid employees in California; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on business considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience, and education. The position is bonus-eligible, and there are medical, dental, and vision benefits available. There is a 401k saving plan and other benefits, such as Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, and an Employee Assistance Plan.
