Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while promoting our products. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be key in driving sales and enhancing their shopping experience.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for processing transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that stock is replenished and displays are visually appealing.
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Check fish in for customers wanting processing and shipping of products.
- May need to help in our processing plant at times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn about products and demonstrate them confidently to customers.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- While all of these skills above are preferred we are willing to train the right person even without the above skillset.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
