TidalHealth is seeking a compassionate and skilled Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team in Salisbury, Maryland . This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated provider to practice in an inpatient setting, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality infectious disease care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with infectious disease physicians.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic infectious diseases, ensuring evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Prescribe medications, monitor treatment efficacy, and manage potential side effects.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and adherence strategies.
- Coordinate care with pharmacists, nurses, and infection control specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies.
