Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details General job duties include taking care of patient population with diagnoses such as ADRS, Craniotomy, Pneumonia, Hypothermia, Trauma, Sepsis, STEMI, and more. Equipment utilized includes computer, vitals machine, IV pumps, vents, Bipap / Cpap, Swan, Balloon pump, cooling blanket, hoyer lift, tube feeding pumps, and defibrillator. Requires 2 years of recent critical care experience. Job Requirements Active MD or compact state RN license Active BLS certification - must be American Heart Association Active ACLS certification - must be American Heart Association CSC certification is preferred, but not required. Schedule Information 12 hour shifts including weekends and holidays No call required Will independently take care of patients but will not be alone on the unit. Unit Specific Information Floating to other units only if census is down, primarily to another critical care unit such as PCU or CTICU. Additional Details Basic knowledge of vasopressors, fibrinolytics, antiarrhythmics, paralytics, and antihypertensives. Candidate's permanent address must be outside of 100 miles of Salisbury.
