Job Requirements : Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required : Ability to read and communicate in the English language.
Mental Demands : 1. Uses knowledge and judgment needed to meet the treatment needs of patients and families. 2. Often works under the pressure of time and accuracy in accomplishing patient care. 3. Demonstrates effective communication skills.
Contact with Other : 1. Has almost constant contact with patients and families requiring skill in communication, motivation and teaching. 2. Works effectively with medical staff, department managers, nursing personnel and administration 3. Maintains cooperative working relationships both inter and intra-departmentally.

Min 2 years recent acute care experience
Schedule Information
Schedule is 8a – 4 : 30p
Unit Specific Information
Special procedures and requirements. Med surg, decondition (surgical pats), ICU / MCICU (open heart) patients. Assist with large population of ortho patients. Assist with patients in the “joint camp” also. Responsible for 12-15 patients per day.
Type of equipment. Computerized documentation, will train on. (EPIC).
Information about the department. Dress Code is kaki scrub bottoms with navy scrub tops.

Active BLS required - Must be AHA
Active MD state license
