Peninsula School District is seeking a highly motivated, professional, energetic, and certified Senior Naval Science Instructor (retired USN, USMC, or USCG commissioned officers in grades W-2 through 0-6 or non-commissioned officers E6-E9)
Position Summary
The Instructor will be responsible for leading the program and, setting up service projects and community events, forming drill, academic, and PT teams, and preparing for summer leadership camp. Applicants must be willing to work before and after school with some weekends, traveling with cadets, and supporting school and community service events.

Qualifications
- Retired US Navy, US Marine Corp, or US Coast Guard (W-2 through 0-6 OR non-commissioned E6-E9)
- Certificated as a Naval Science Instructor by the Chief of Naval Education and Training
- Teacher Certification in Washington State or ability to obtain
- CTE Certificate (with JROTC V280300 endorsement) or willingness to obtain within four years of employment
- Valid Washington Driver's License or obtained with 30 days of employment
- Possess a Type 2 Washington State license or willingness to obtain one in the first 90 days of employment (training offered by the district)
- Possess First Aid/ CPR certification or willingness to obtain within the first 30 days of employment (training offered by the district)
- Completion of New Instructor Orientation Training (NIOT) within the first year of employment
