**About the Role**
Penmac Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Safety Program Manager to join our team in Aurora, MO.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement effective food safety programs to ensure compliance with GFSI certification requirements.
- Coordinate environmental monitoring programs at the Aurora facility, including swabbing activities, sample collection, and result tracking.
- Investigate and resolve food safety and quality issues, as well as customer complaints, to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Train and develop site employees on food safety and environmental programs, promoting a culture of quality and safety.
- Serve as a support for pest control programs at the facility through contracted services.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, or related field required.
- Three years of progressive industry experience in quality and/or food safety required.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and Food Safety principles essential.
- Prior experience with Lean Six Sigma knowledge desired; Black Belt or Green Belt preferred.
