Industrial Maintenace Technician

Penmac Staffing is currently hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a local defense and aerospace company. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask as well as be a team player. This candidate must have 1-2 years of experience in the industry. This position is a Monday-Friday position from 4:30 am to 1 pm with overtime as needed throughout the week. The average payrate starts at $18 per hour depending on experience.

Duties

• Must have building maintenance experience
• Must be skilled in routine installations, repairs, construction, and equipment replacement
• Must have the ability to read, accept, and follow detailed instructions from maintenance personnel
• Must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools, carpentry, plumbing and basic electrical knowledge
• Knowledge of welding, HVAC and minor fabrication in metal and wood is a plus
  
  

Requirements

• The candidate must be organized, detail oriented, and a self-starter with little or no supervision
• Must prioritize work as well as change working priorities to support the manufacturing industry
• Experience in industrial maintenance
• Must be able to work overtime, including weekends
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
