Material Handler Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and move materials based on customer orders.
- Read and interpret work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records.
- Use a company-provided laptop and mobile device to track and manage work orders
- Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric tugs (experience preferred).
- Unload and transport server racks, bulk containers, and other materials to designated locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and ensure accurate tracking of materials.
- Maintain inventory control and keep accurate records of shipments and receipts.
- Follow warehouse safety protocols and maintain an organized work area (5S).
- Work collaboratively with team members, vendors, and internal departments to meet company goals.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift, pallet jack, or electric tug experience is a plus.
- Tech-savvy - must be comfortable using a laptop and mobile device to manage work orders and track inventory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Flexible availability, including overtime when needed.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and work instructions.
- Background check required before starting.
- $18.50 per hour starting pay.
