Mechanic

Penmac Staffing is currently hiring an Industrial Maintenance position for a local Industrial Company. The candidate must be very detail-oriented and reliable. This position will be Monday-Friday from 7 am -3pm. The average pay rate will be $26 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to the facility
• Use skills necessary to perform day-to-day maintenance if facilities and equipment
• Inspect equipment and machines to locate causes of trouble
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures
• Repairs, maintains, and rebuilds machinery and equipment according to blueprints and other specifications
• Dismantle and move machinery and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area
• May set up and operate shaper, lathe, drill press, grinder or milling machine to make or repair parts
  
  

Requirements

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
• Formal education (2-year degree, apprenticeship or equivalent)
• 3 years of experience in the trade (Equivalent education is long term experience in the trade in place of formal education)
• Must submit to a drug screen and background check
