Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and develop new customer opportunities in contract manufacturing.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive long-term business growth.
- Represent the company at trade shows and customer visits to generate leads and expand market presence.
- Provide technical expertise to support customer needs and project requirements.
- Develop and implement engineering solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Create and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Conduct research and testing to validate designs and manufacturing processes.
- Analyze test data to troubleshoot and optimize product performance.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering and sales efforts.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project progress and customer solutions.
- Ensure all projects meet industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and manufacturing innovations.
- Identify technical and operational challenges, develop solutions, and implement improvements.
- Support the development of innovative contract manufacturing solutions.
Education & Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in an engineering or technical sales role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes, including cutting, forming, and welding.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., CAD, simulation tools).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
- Prior experience in contract manufacturing sales or a similar industry.
- Background in a specific engineering or sales specialization.
Salary : $45,000 - $50,000
