- Produce machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine
- Maintain quality & safety standards
- Maintain equipment & supplies
- Verify settings by measuring positions and first-run parts
- Keep records
- Communicate with fellow team members

Physical Requirements
- Standing or walking short distances constantly (at least eight hours).
- Lifting 5–12-pound parts from thigh height to waist height occasionally (33% of the time).
- Lifting 5–12-pound parts from waist height to chest height frequently (50-75% of the time).
- Bending to the ground or stooping occasionally (33% of the time).
- Lifting 50–60-pound boxes of parts with help rarely (15% or less of the time).
- Machine cycle times vary from one to three minutes with load and unload duties necessary at the end of cycle times. Operators are typically responsible for a minimum of two machines.
- Operators process approximately two to three hundred parts per shift.
