Penmac Staffing is now hiring a control room operator for a local pet food manufacturer. The ideal candidate must be able to work 12-hour shifts, with overtime as needed. The candidate must have previous experience as a control room operator. Also, the candidate must have great communication skills, able to multitask, as well as computer experience. The pay range for this position starts out at $19.15 depending on experience.

Duties:
- Communication with multiple departments to ensure the dry-side cooking process meets all customer requirements.
- Monitor overall performance with GMPs, SMPs, HACCP, and more are followed and report any problems to the proper department needed.
- Ability to multitask and flex job according to duties on a daily basis to meet the needs of the company demands.
- Diagnosis and communicate any issues in a timely manner and report appropriately
- Performing CIP, understanding chemical safety and cleaning area as needed.
- Ability to teach/train teammates in the safe/efficient operation of the dry process.
- More duties as assigned
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (IT/Computer Degree preferred not required)
- Previous manufacturing control experience preferred
- Computer Experience and skills, including Outlook and Excel
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English, effectively and efficiently
- Able to work in extreme hot environments for 12 hours
- Willing to flex schedule if needed
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Able to pass background requirements and pre-employment drug screen.
