Fabricator

We are seeking associates to work first shift in a fabrication position. The hours are Monday-Wednesday 4:30pm-5:00am work 36 hours, get paid for 40. You will train on day shift.

Company summary - Design, manufacturing and distributing of railroad signal products, grade crossing assemblies, bungalows and other mission critical items.

Fabrication Dept - Debur position

Job Description:
Sets up and operates Belt Sanders, Grinders, Time Machine to deburr steel, aluminum, and copper.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Operates/Set Up Belt Sanders, Grinders, and Time Machine

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic understanding of different materials.
• Attention to detail.

Education and Other Requirements:

• Able to lift 50lbs or less.
• Must pass drug screen.
• Must be able to work in a team with others.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and take direction.

Working Conditions:

• Must follow personal protective equipment policies.
• Work in manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise and fumes.
• Fast-paced environment with moving objects, sharp edges and congested work area.
• Will be pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching overhead, grasping and lifting up to 70 pounds.

Hours: Days Monday through Thursday 5:30am – 4pm.

Temp-To-Hire after 90 days.

Pay: $17.00/hr to start

Timekeeping - use their timeclock. They will email the hours to Penmac.

Dress - steel toes boots or steel toe shoes
