Penmac Staffing West Plains is recruiting Pet Bed Assembly- Filler associates for a business partner in West Plains, Mo.
Regular Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm (Hours may vary depending on overtime scheduled)
Rate of Pay: $16.73 an hour.
General Purpose of Job: Operate fiber filling machine, which blows fiber into pillow and pet bed products, while meeting production standards along with quality standards.

Education/Experience:
No prior experience or training.
Language Ability:
Ability to reach and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volumes, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
No computer skills required.
Certificates and Licenses:
Will participate in annual hearing test provided by the company. Respirator fit test will be provided by the company. LO/TO Training will be provided by the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

- Operate machine that blows fiber fill into pre-sewn pillow/pet bed products.
- Maintain efficient speed for production output and evaluate quality constantly.
- Maintain clean work area.
- Observe Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Maintain positive attitude and behavior that gets along with co-workers and supervisors.
- When scheduled and authorized by supervisor, you will be expected to work overtime.
