Summary

We are seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative team at Penn Beer Sales & Service. You will create/design, finish, and distribute signage to the sales force to increase brand awareness of our portfolio of brands with our retail partners and customers. Maintain the appearance and organization of Point of Sale room, tap room, and sign department. Receive, distribute, organize, and inventory Point of Sale. Inspect items received and ensure they are of accurate quantity, type, and acceptable quality. Assist the sales force and brewery suppliers with signs, allocations, and POCM. Distribute beer samples to sales force. Maintain respectful relationships with Penn Beer Personnel across all departments and with Brewery Representatives.

Responsibilities

• Design templates and creative artwork for print and digital media.
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
• Finish signage for retail (cutting, mounting, and allocating).
• Track signage, tap handles, and POS through various programs for budgeting.
• Implement current themes and guidelines from Anheuser-Busch and craft partners.
• Assist sales force with tap stickers requests.
• Receive and document POS items from UPS, FEDEX, and other freight suppliers.
• Allocate incoming POS to general inventory and/or sales cages.
• Keep a daily inventory of received items and send a report to direct supervisor(s).
• Distribute signage to sales bins and cages.
• Maintain the appearance of the POS room and sign department.
• Fulfill daily tap, glassware, and POS requests and distribute accordingly.
• Keep inventory of tap equipment and POS through various programs for budgeting.
• Build various POS items for trade (bikes, display pieces, etc.).
• Fulfill any requests and assist with gathering POS for any of our AB or Craft partners for pickup.
• Create on-site signage.
• Assist with inventory control
• Neon repair and maintenance.
• Assisting operations if needed.

Qualifications

• Background in art or graphic design.
• Basic understanding of design programs (Word, Corel, Excel, Power Point).
• Great attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt to a flexible workflow.
• Forklift certification is a plus (training will be provided).
• Ability to lift a minimum of 80 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical, abilities test, and background check.
• Must be highly organized.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Deadline and detail-oriented.
• Highly motivated with the ability to set priorities.
• Basic understanding of blade and tool safety (training will be provided).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
