Responsibilities
Loan Processing
- Review submitted requests for new commercial loans prepared by loan officers and processors to clarify and verify loan terms and rates.
- Review proof of entity documentation, property and flood insurance and all other documents as necessary to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Prepare loan documents for new loans in accordance to the approvals
- Prepare Commercial Change in Terms
- Prepare Retail loan subordinations and satisfactions as needed
- Verify Residential Loan Document prior to closing
- Process New Loan Funding Requests and upload to Onbase
- Process UCC Filings, Renewals and Terminations to ensure correct lien position
- Process Fee payments associated with new loans
- Perform Collateral Tracking, support management with collateral tracking by contacting title companies. Document recording information in DNA
- Review monthly UCC report to process continuations
- Prepare documents to be imaged. Ensure documents are of good scanning quality. Ensure all staples and paper clips are removed prior to scanning.
- Scan Documents – Capture images electronically using high speed scanners.
- Index documents – File images electronically, ensuring documents are able to be retrieved by end-users using key search fields.
- Perform Onbase quality control to ensure all document pages are legible, formatted correctly and indexed appropriately.
- Submit new HELOC mortgages for recording at the county level.
- Prepare paid off loan mortgages and submit for satisfaction at the county level.
- Return closed loan documentation to borrowers.
- Prepare closed files for retention.
- Process Matured Loan report
- Process Zero Balance report
- Act as backup to other department functions as times permits

Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of Banking experience
- Experience with documenting commercial loans
- Prior experience with Bank’s documentation system(s) a plus
- Strong knowledge of lending terminology-retail and commercial
- Strong knowledge /understanding of Loan Documentation including, loan notes, mortgages, UCC filings, property searches, flood and property insurance, proof of entity documentation.
- Strong communication/organization skills.
- Time management skills.
