PennEngineering, Winston-Salem, is seeking a motivated, excited individual to join its Manufacturing team. As the Machine Scrap Puller and Chip Cleaner, you'll collaborate with teams that do truly amazing things.

Requirements:WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Collect chips from the machines, ensuring not to mix steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or brass chips.
- Operate the Prab Chip Processor and the Barrett Chip Processor safely.
- Diagnose and assist in repairing the Prab and Barrett chip processors.
- Clean the bases of the screw machines as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform additional duties as required.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to pick up 65-75 pounds frequently throughout an entire shift (8-10 hours)
- Must be able to bend forward, stretch forward, and squat as needed to complete essential functions
- Must be able to shovel metal chips into a chip processor frequently throughout an entire shift (8-10 hours)
- Occasional lifting of 80 pounds
- Must be able to stand throughout an entire shift
Education/Qualifications
- High School diploma preferred
