Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is just one component of our competitive Total Rewards package, which includes wellness programs designed to support our team members' financial, physical, and mental well-being. The LEAP Internship program at Penn National Gaming is a career development program designed for college students working towards their degree. This 12-week, paid internship will allow participants to gain practical, hands-on work experience and develop career potential in the Gaming and Hospitality industry. During this time, students will be exposed to several real-life work experiences, which will include:
- Completing projects related to key business priorities at home property.
- Completing rotations throughout property for all functional areas within jurisdictional approval.
- Participating in company-wide training programs and attending key team meetings
- Providing support to functional leaders
- Building relationships with department leaders, executive team, supervisors, and team members
- Developing and presenting a final project.

- Must have completed junior year of college and be actively enrolled in an accredited, 4-year college or university with an interest in internship focus area (e.g. marketing, finance, etc.).
- GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have desire to drive results and participate in rotational schedule.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, including evening and night shifts during rotational schedule.
- Must be at least 21 years of age by beginning of internship (special consideration may be made to those with birthdays near this date or in specific jurisdictions where allowed).
- Must be eligible to work full time in the United States.
- Must be available for the duration of the program for full time employment (40hrs/week).
