Director of Sales and Marketing

Downtown Los Angeles Proper Hotel is seeking candidates for Director of Sales and Marketing . This historic 148-room renovated hotel with a trio of inviting dining destinations, event venues and a spectacular rooftop bar is the newest addition to the Proper Brand.

Qualifications

• The Director of Sales and Marketing will oversee the daily operations of the Sales Team including the solicitation of business from all markets.
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years hospitality-related sales experience and previous Director of Sales and Marketing experience in a luxury or lifestyle market.
• Strong local market knowledge of the Los Angeles area, and a solid foundation in forecasting, prospecting, PMS, and Delphi software are required.
• Strong leadership skills required to oversee and drive the Sales Team.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational, presentation, and communication skills are also required.

Education

B.A. Degree required.
