Job Responsibilities :
Direct and manage sales and business development operations, generate new accounts and maintain current ones, drive market competitiveness, improve distribution / channel strategy, as well as complete the following tasks :
Key Job Responsibilities :
- Maintain current knowledge of market trends, and drive the development of sales promotions, initiatives, and strategies to align with said trends.
- Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities, such as training and incentive programs, for employees in your region.
- Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity, and advise the executive team on short-term and long-term objectives, policies, and actions.
- Work with the Marketing Administrator, Director of Purchasing, and Vice President of Sales to develop, establish, and implement channel and distribution strategies and programs.
- Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding TPH’s customer base.
- Drive local brand awareness through various means (events, advertisements, materials, etc.)
- Develop relationships / networks with local spheres of influence.
- Develop a strategy and process for attaining business from prospective clients while cultivating an ongoing client roster.
- Oversee the hiring and training of employees in your region.
- Host regular meetings with employees; discuss performance and adherence to company goals and policies.
- Lead efforts to maintain security and safety procedures for regional employees.
Required Qualifications :
Physical Demands : To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time. The occasional heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
