Summary :
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will administer local, inhalation, intravenous, regional, neuraxial and other anesthetics which the CRNA is qualified to perform to induce total or partial loss of sensation or consciousness in patients during surgery, delivers, or other medical and dental procedures. You will work primarily in an Anesthesia Care Team (ACT) model and enjoy a high degree of autonomy. Case mix is broad and includes cardiac, thoracic, vascular, neuro, general, ortho, plastics, ENT, dental, urology, GI, limited pediatrics, gynecology, and obstetrics.
Other information : QUALIFICATIONS :
- Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
- Satisfactory completion of a course of training in an accredited school of nurse anesthesia fully recognized by the American -Association of Nursing Anesthetist
- National board of certification or recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certified
- Healthcare provider (BLS) certification at time of hire
- ACLS certification at hire, or must obtain within 12 months of hire date
