AS A CERTIFIED PHLEBOTOMIST, you will be responsible for performing and attaining phlebotomy samples of all types except arterial on in-patients and out-patients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a High school graduate or equivalent
- Must have ASCP, NPA, NHA or equivalent certification in Phlebotomy
- Must have training in specimen collection by venipuncture and capillary puncture from an established training program or equivalent work experience
- Must have knowledge of Laboratory function, medical and laboratory terminology
- Must have pleasant personality and a talent for dealing with adults and children sympathetically and diplomatically
- Must be able to work overtime and to rotate shifts, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work overtime as dictated by workload

- Must maintain current CPR certification
