AS THE PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT, you'll be under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, and the Medical/Surgical Nurse Manager, this role is responsible for performing clerical, and receptionist duties. As the Patient Care Assistant, and under the supervision of Professional Nursing personnel, this position assists and provides patient care utilizing established standards of care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Have one year patient care experience preferred
- Have current Pennsylvania nursing assistant, EMT, or Paramedic certification or Completion of nursing assistant course or Completion of clinical medical assistant program or Completion of one semester of nursing school (RN or LPN program) or Current experience as nursing assistant
- Have Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification within 6 months
