Description: THE SURGICAL SCHEDULER - SPECIALITY IN SUPPORT OF THE PHYSICIAN OR ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER WILL OBTAIN ALL AUTHORIZATIONS FOR SURGERY. THE SURGICAL COORDINATOR WILL SCHEDULE THE SURGERY AND PREPARE ALL NECESSARY ITEMS NEEDED PRIOR TO THE DAY OF PROCEDURE.
Qualifications:
Education: HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT REQUIRED. ASSOCIATES DEGREE IN RELATED FIELD PREFERRED.
Required Experience/Skills: PRIOR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE PROCEDURES WITHIN A PHYSICIAN OFFICE REQUIRED. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE IN PAYOR AUTHORIZATION REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED. SPECIFIC SPECIALTY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. CPR CERTIFICATION WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR OF HIRE. Preferred
Experience/Skills: NHA OR NCCT MEDICAL ASSISTANT CERTIFICATION PREFERRED.
