Public Service Associate – Community Fridge
This position will support the Penn Hills Library Community Fridge and its goal to address food insecurity among Library patrons.
What you will do
· Interact with the public and answer questions about the Community Fridge
· Drive a cargo van to and from the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank
· Load and unload the cargo van at the food bank and at the Library
· Organize food for later distribution and restock
· Maintain a clean space in accordance with food safety guidelines
What you will need
· The ability to stand and lift heavy loads for up to 1 hour
· The ability to work well with a team of volunteers and library staff
· Clear, effective communication internally and externally
· Valid driver’s license
· Current COVID 19 vaccination

Job Type: Part-time, 15-20 hours a week Tuesday-Friday
Pay: $14.00 per hour
