Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Lead Abatement Project Manager to oversee and manage our lead abatement teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with all lead-safe regulations. You will work closely with your team, clients, and stakeholders to set expectations, remove obstacles, and ensure high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management & Support:
- Set up the team for success by providing clear expectations and ensuring team members have the resources needed to complete their work.
- Attend bid walkthroughs with clients and stakeholders, asking clarifying questions about the scope of work.
- Provide daily expectations to each team member at the start of each day and conduct end-of-day reviews to ensure tasks are completed to standard.
- Scheduling & Coordination:
- Collaborate with team members to prepare and finalize schedules for current and upcoming projects.
- Communicate schedules and objectives clearly to team members in advance, ensuring that all tools, materials, and equipment are prepared for each job.
- Upload weekly schedules and daily objectives to shared drives for easy access by all team members.
- Site Oversight & Compliance:
- Be present on-site to set up the team and monitor their adherence to lead-safe regulations throughout the project.
- Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are available on-site for the team’s use.
- Oversee the proper execution of lead abatement procedures and ensure the team is following safety protocols.
- Work closely with clients, inspectors, and regulatory bodies to coordinate inspections, permits, and final approvals.
- Administrative Duties:
- Manage and track project documentation, including schedules, work progress, and inspections.
- Facilitate the pickup and payment of permits as required by local codes.
- Notify the appropriate authorities when work is completed for final walkthroughs and approval.
Qualifications:
- Must take and pass the required Lead Abatement Supervisor exam (required).
- Proven experience in managing lead abatement projects or similar environmental health projects.
- Strong knowledge of lead-safe work practices and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using shared drive systems and scheduling software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $86,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
